32 Ethiopians have arrived home after being freed from Egyptian prisons. This follows negotiations between Ethiopia’s Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed Ali, and the Egyptian government. Prime Minister Abiye requested Egypt to pardon Ethiopian citizens jailed for mostly entering the country illegally. Abiy has been on a two day visit to Egypt over the weekend. The freed Ethiopians were all flown back to Addis Ababa on the Prime minister’s plane. CGTN’s Girum chala met some of them at Bole international airport.
